Jamaican Castor Oil- Castor Oil has been a staple in traditional Jamaican lifestyle for centuries.   There are two types of Castor Oil available from Jamaica but they both come from the same oil nut tree. The Jamaican Black Castor Oil and Cold pressed Jamaican castor oil are both extracted by pressing the seeds of the castor oil plant.  The only difference is that with black castor oil the beans are roasted before extraction hence giving the black castor oil the burnt, nutty smell.  Jamaican Castor Oil has many health benefits but is commonly used for moisturizing hair as well as stimulating hair growth.
